NOTE: Pilr only supports Wordpress sites using WooCommerce at the moment, but Shopify support is in active development. If you need a custom solution, please create a ticket to request a custom page if this page does not fit your needs.

Store Setup​

WooCommerce​

1. Install the Pilr Custom Plugin​

Pilr requires a small WordPress plugin that allows your app to open pre-built carts from WooCommerce.

  • Download the plugin by clicking this link
  • In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  • Upload the file you downloaded and click Install Now.
  • Once installed, click Activate Plugin.

That’s it! The plugin enables Pilr to communicate properly with your store.

2. Get Your WooCommerce API Keys​

Next, you’ll need your WooCommerce Consumer Key (ck) and Consumer Secret (cs) — these allow Pilr to securely connect to your store.

  • In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API.
  • Click Add Key.
  • Give it a name (for example, Pilr App).
  • Set Permissions to Read/Write.
  • Click Generate API Key.
  • Copy both the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.

Keep these safe — you’ll need them in the next step.

3. Connect WooCommerce to Pilr​

Now, link your store to your Pilr merch page.

  • Open your app in the Pilr Editor.
  • Go to your Merch Page settings.
  • Enter the following:
    • Website Name — your WooCommerce store’s URL (for example, https://yourstore.com)
    • Consumer Key (ck) — paste the key from WooCommerce
    • Consumer Secret (cs) — paste the secret from WooCommerce

Pilr will now sync with your store so you can add products to your app catalog.

Editor Setup​

Once your store is connected, you can choose which products appear in your app and how they’re arranged.

1. Open the Product Manager​

At the bottom of the Merch Page settings, you’ll see a Manage Products button after you enter your API keys. Clicking it opens a popup where you can manage which items appear in your app catalog.

2. Add Products to Your Catalog​

  • Inside the popup, click Add Products to Catalog.
  • A dropdown will appear showing all the products from your store.
  • Click any product to add it to your app’s catalog.
  • To add everything at once, click Add All Products to Catalog.

Once a product is added to the catalog, it becomes visible and purchasable inside your app.

3. Rearrange Your Products​

  • You can control the order in which products appear in the app:
  • Simply hold and drag any product up or down in the list to rearrange it.
  • The new order is saved automatically.

You’re Done!

Your Merch Page is now live and connected to your store. Fans can browse, add items to their cart, and check out directly in your app — all without leaving Pilr.
