Troubleshooting and FAQ
Troubleshooting
Even though Pilr is built to make app creation effortless, sometimes you might run into questions or small hiccups. Here are some of the most common issues and how to fix them quickly.
My app submission is taking longer than expected
App review times can vary depending on the time of week and how many submissions are being processed.
- Pilr submissions: Usually within 24 hours (business days only)
- Apple & Google reviews: Typically 24–72 hours (also business days only)
If your app hasn’t updated after 7 business days, reach out to support@pilr.marketing — we’ll check the status for you. You’ll also receive an email notification every time your app’s status changes.
I uploaded an image, but it doesn’t look right in the preview
Double-check that your image meets these guidelines:
- Recommended format: .PNG or .JPG
- Resolution: at least 1024×1024 for icons or banners
- Keep images square whenever possible (especially for thumbnails)
If your image still appears stretched or blurry, try re-uploading it in a 1:1 aspect ratio.
My WooCommerce products aren’t showing in the app
Make sure that:
- The Pilr custom plugin is installed and active on your WordPress site.
- Your Consumer Key (ck) and Consumer Secret (cs) are correctly entered in your Pilr page settings.
- Your WooCommerce store is publicly accessible (not in maintenance mode).
If you’ve checked all three and products still don’t appear, email support with your store URL and we’ll help troubleshoot.
I can’t edit my custom page
Custom pages are built manually by the Pilr team, so they can’t be modified in the Editor. To make updates or changes, email support@pilr.marketing with your request — we’ll review it and provide a one-time update quote.
FAQ
Can I use Pilr without coding experience?
Absolutely! Pilr is designed to be 100% no-code. You handle the content — we handle the app publishing.
How do I get notified about my app’s progress?
You’ll receive an email every time your app’s status changes — whether it’s under review, approved, or requires updates.
Can I publish multiple apps under one account?
No, unfortunately! You must create a new account for every app that you want to publish.
How do I update my app after publishing?
For built-in pages, just make your changes in the Editor — updates go live instantly for all users. For custom pages, email support to request an update.
Does Pilr handle App Store or Play Store accounts for me?
Yes. Pilr manages the submission process on your behalf, so you don’t need to create separate developer accounts or deal with store setup.
Can I migrate my app away from Pilr in the future?
Because Pilr apps are hosted and maintained through our system, direct migration isn’t supported. However, you can always request a data export or ask our team about migration options.
