Updating Your App
One of the biggest advantages of Pilr is that your app doesn’t stay frozen after publishing. You can continue to update most parts of it directly from the editor — no need to wait for another app store review.
Making Updates in the Editor
The editor works just like before: every change you make is auto-saved to your workspace. However, for your users to actually see the updates, you’ll need to click the Publish Changes button in the bottom-right corner.
When you publish changes:
- Pilr will automatically check for errors.
- If there’s an issue (for example, a required field is missing), the editor will highlight it so you can fix it before publishing continues.
What You Can Update
After your app goes live, you can still modify almost everything, including:
- Adding or removing pages
- Changing the order of pages
- Updating the details and content on each page
- Editing your social media links
- Swapping out your banner image
- Adjusting your color theme
These changes are pushed instantly once you publish them — no store review delays.
What You Can't Update
The only exception is custom pages. Once your app is published, custom pages are locked down for stability and security reasons. If you need to make changes to a custom page, you’ll need to create a new support ticket so our team can help you.
