Custom Pages
Custom Pages are a great way to add specialized functionality or unique layouts to your app — beyond what Pilr’s built-in page types offer. They’re designed and developed by our team specifically for your needs, allowing you to extend your app’s capabilities without touching a line of code.
What Can a Custom Page Do?
Custom Pages can be used to:
- Extend an existing Pilr page to better fit a niche use case
- Add features not currently available in the default editor
- Create a one-of-a-kind experience for your users
Some popular examples include:
| Custom Page Type | Description | Example Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Advanced Gallery | A media gallery with sorting or filtering options | Showcasing projects, collections, or visual portfolios |
| Custom Events Page | Enhanced layout or ticket link integration | Listing performances or workshops with RSVP buttons |
| Interactive Map Page | Embedded maps with custom markers | Showing store or event locations |
Note: We recommend that custom pages match the design and feel of your app for a cohesive experience — but the final look is entirely up to you.
Pricing
Custom Pages are billed as a one-time fee, based on the estimated time required to design and build your page. Our current rate is $50/hour, and payment is made manually through Stripe once you confirm your request.
| Complexity Level | Example Feature | Estimated Hours | Approx. Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Simple | Custom layout variation of an existing page | 1–2 hrs | $50–$100 |
| Moderate | New media gallery or events layout | 3–5 hrs | $150–$250 |
| Advanced | Fully custom interactive or data-driven page | 6–10 hrs | $300–$500+ |
Updating a Custom Page
Once your app is published, custom pages cannot be edited directly in the Editor, since these pages are manually built by our team.
If you’d like to make any changes after publishing, simply email our support team with your update request. We’ll review the details, provide an updated estimate, and you’ll pay a new one-time fee for the revision.
Why can’t custom pages be edited like others?
Because they’re built with custom code, any changes must go through our team to ensure your app remains stable and functional.
